I met with the lovely Leah, who walked me through the entire collection, from products to tips and received a lovely makeover at the end, to try and feel the products for myself.
Today I will be keeping you up to date with the whole process. Lots of things to learn and tips to take on board!
The LOVEGROVE collection is all about "Beauty with a free-spirited soul"
This limited edition Summer 2016 collection is inspired by the passion for travel, and feeling free wherever you are.
The first thing that will strike you down will be the amazing packaging for each product!
Designer - Ross Lovegrove is the one to blame for the luxurious, dreamy gold packaging that we all want to see in outer makeup bags.
Ross is known for his Futuristic work which outshines in his designs.
They have tons of new makeup products, tools, accessories and even 2 new fragrances!
One for Day - Sahara Sun and one for Night - Oasis Sun.
Imagine Sun, warmth, relaxation and adventure! That's where these fragrances take you.
Love the packaging that much? Can see it matching one of your outfits?
They have introduced a clutch which is an elegant must.
Or even just an extremely glamourous makeup bag!
Now the exciting part... LIMITED EDITION MAKEUP
Of course limited edition means it's not around forever, so grab it whilst you can.
A great addition to each of these products is that they all contain special ingredients such as Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Mango and Shea Butter. These are all great to achieve smooth, hydrated, glowing skin and lips. Oh and every product smells AMAZING <3
Starting with the face.
Hello to DD creams... Yes this is one of the first on the market, DD does everything that's BB and CC does but now there is an extra quality to this launch, DD creams contain extra protection from environmental/pollution around us.
This 'Sunshine DD cream' can also be used as a primer, it will give you skin a great base with a healthy sun kissed glow. Containing an amazing 30SPF perfect for that holiday foundation!
There are 2 new compact foundations. One that is a 'Sunshine cream' compact foundation, which is great on mature skin as it will not settle in any unwanted visible lines, gives a healthy sun kissed glow for the summer and is extremely light and air-like on the skin. No one wants cloggy, thick foundation in the summer heat.
The second is the compact 'Sunshine Powder Foundation', which can be worn alone or flawlessly set any foundation and can amazingly be used WET OR DRY! Now what other powder can do this <3

Top tip : wet your brush and apply as a contour. The prefect natural shadow on your skin.
Dreamy 'Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush' contains 3 shades in one layered with soft shimmer to natural highlight your cheeks. Comes in 3 different shades and are easily buildable for you desired look.
You will see some highlighting balls strike down your eyes. The 'Desert Moon Highlighter' are a pot full of small pea size balls which look intense but can actually be used all over the face without looking like a disco ball. So those of you who love a natural looking shimmer over the top of you makeup, this is the product for you.
They are of course buildable so if you wanted them just on the high bones of your face, you can directly apply a couple of layers with a smaller dence brush.
KIKO are greatly known for their double ended eye pencils, within this collection they have 'In the Shade Eyeshadow and Kajaj' great to use as an eyeshadow base (layer over with eyeshadows or your choice), and brilliant for a simple desired cut crease.
Striking pen-like 'Out of Bounds Eye Liner', which goes on liquid form, dries illuminous, so that stunning shine never looks dry and honestly does not budge! You need special eye makeup remover to get this beauty off. So perfect for no crumbling, daytime use in the heat, such as on holiday and overall looks bold.
New 'Endless Sky Volume Effect Mascara' launch with their graduated brush which curl and lifts lashes to perfection, volumising with its innotive technology.
Last but not least, treat the lips.
A new must have for summer is the 'Heatwave Lip oils', we all have that annoying time where our lips feel a little dry and need a good hydration. Look no further than conditioning your lips with the lip oils, that can be used alone or over any other lipstick/crayon. Best of all, they contain coconut, vanilla and grapefruit scent.
'Mirage Lip STYLO' is there newest lipstick edition, containing bold colours with a stunning shines finish which gives a great hydrating effect in the summer, to last all day long.
Another 2 in 1 is their 'Free Spirit Lips and Cheeks' I love how much pigmentation comes from these chubby crayons which you on,y need a minimum about to achieve such a striking look on both your lips and cheeks, resulting in a semi matte finish and can also be used to give a ombré effect on the lips.
Top tip - One of the Derby KIKO make-up artist advises to apply these crayons in a hashtag # on the cheeks and work in with a dense synthetic brush, works wonders and gives that even finish from every angle.
They have also a limited edition tapered Foundation brush and Dense Wide face brush, that can be used with any of the products. Both synthetic hairs which prevent clogging when used with creamy products.
