Today's post will be on my 3 chosen products which are now beautifully placed within my kit ❤️
These products are -
Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush (shade - 01 Lust Coral)
Mirage Lip Stylo (shade - 14)
Free Spirit Lips and cheeks (shade - 102)
First of all the packaging is most striking, it gives a real summer, heated vibe with its coral-tinted gold shiny casing with its modern three dimensional design. Along with their KK logo.
I love that the curvy lines are inspired by the female body.
These baked blushes are each combined with 3 shades that can be used individually or blended together, using either a synthetic or fibre brush in a circular motion along the cheek bone to the temple.
Each blush feels lightweight on the skin, and glides on evenly with a silky texture which blends easily.
Top tip - Achieve the new 'Coloured Contouring' trend by mixing the darkest shades together and blending it under your cheekbones for a more flushed shape on the face rather than deep Browns.
A 2 in 1 product used on the lips and/or cheeks is basically a lipstick/cream blush chunky pencil, achieving a striking semi-matte finish.
With this product being a pencil like form, it makes it easier to apply on the lips, directly between your lip line and evenly apply on the cheeks with
The texture of this pencil has a creamy feel so that it is easy to work into the skin and feel comfortable and moisturise send on the lips.
Focusing on the semi-matte look so that the summer weather won't leave you with shiny skin.
This product also contains a pencil sharpener, which is amazing as it can be hard to get sharpeners that fit this size.
You can either blend in with your fingers or their recommended 107 face brush for a more precise application and also be built up to the intensity of your choice.
When using on the lips, a tapping motion from your finger tips leaves it with that summer softened blurred look. They also contain shades which can easily be mixed to achieve a ombré lip look.
I've always been a fan of KIKO Lipsticks, and again this didn't disapoint.
I loved the bold glossy finish from this lip colour. My lips looked packed with colour and very moisturised.
Each lipstick contains special pigments and waxes to give this summer look wether it's day or night.
It's easy to apply the lipstick as its in a perfect rounded applicator that is slanted to sit within your lips and glide with its balm like texture leaving my lips feeling smooth and hydrated.
Again I also love the packaging and the magnet closing lid.
These were the 3 products of my choice but I also loved the 'Heatwave Lip Oil' - perfect for that non sticky glossy effect in the summer.
'Sunshine DD Cream' - for the day time foundation, which is not thick or cloggy to wear in the heat.
'Desert Moon Highlighter' - you just have to look at this and fall in love. It may look very glitter/shimmery but you can apply this all over the face and not look like a disco ball as it is so light and buildable to achieve as much sparkle as you want.
These 3 are my next buys. whoops haha!
