Last week I covered the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb, this week im showcasing the other product of the duo… Killawatt Highlighter in shade 'Hu$tla Baby'
This is a 'Peachy Champagne' highlighter from the amazing Rihanna makeup range.
Highlighters have been the rage for so long now, and brands are constantly releasing new shades, formulas and dimensions to these popping cheekbone products.
I highly doubt any of us do not own a highlighter buried or at the very top of our makeup bags.
Highlighters instantly brighten up the complexion, rise the high point of our features to the surface, and give us a more structured face, with an easy swipe of highlighter.
Fenty advises us to use this highlighter on our Face, Eyes, Lips and Collabones.
Of course i got this in the 'Face Set' along with the Gloss Bomb, mainly because I wanted Gloss Bomb anyway, but thought it made sense to try 2 smaller products for the same price.
Im so glad I did. This highlighter is amazing!
The pigment is perfect, it stand out with just one application really giving a bright dimension when the sunlight hits your face.
The peach/champagne shade with a very warm orange undertone, which is to die for on warm skin tones.
When purchasing the full size of the highlighter, it is actually sold as a duo palette with a matte colour and then the highlighter.
Luckily this set just contains the highlighter on its own so I could really test it out, but it pairs perfectly with the Gloss Bomb Lipgloss.
The texture felt very silky and creamy when applying, so that it did set onto the skin easily, appearing more and more radiant when it was built up, so that you can easily blur the edges to that the highlighter fully blends into the area of the skin applied to.
It wore throughout the day, so sure was long lasting, and didnt need to top up.
I always put 2 layers of highlighter on anyway, mainly so that I see the pigment and not just the fine glitter particles.
Its a great one from Fenty, I especially love the colour.
